Like many people, I first got into birdwatching almost by accident. A few years ago, I hung a simple bird feeder in my backyard — and within days, cardinals, chickadees, and even a bright blue jay showed up. I was instantly hooked.
Since then, birdwatching has become a part of my daily life. I’ve spent countless mornings with a hot cup of coffee, just watching the birds come and go. I’ve tried dozens of feeders, tested all kinds of seeds, and learned which birds show up in which seasons. It’s peaceful, surprising, and deeply rewarding.
That’s why I created Wild Bird Lady — to help others discover the joy of backyard birding, no matter where you live in the U.S. or Canada.
